Slow Cooker French Dip Sandwiches

8 Hours


2.5 lb top or bottom round roast
½ onion, sliced
1 package onion soup mix
2 tsp minced garlic
32 oz beef broth
6 hoagie rolls
6 slices provolone cheese
1 lb Brussel sprouts (side)



  1. Place roast, onion, onion soup mix, minced garlic, and beef broth into the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours. 
  2. Once finished cooking, shred beef. 
  3. Toast hoagie rolls then place shredded beef on a hoagie. Top with provolone cheese and melt under the broiler for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted. 
  4. Serve with juice to dip sandwiches in.

If you’re looking to reduce calories, use half a hoagie or no hoagie
