Recipe Tips & Variations
➡️ Keep the heat low - Melt the butter and marshmallows over medium-low heat to prevent the mixture from becoming stiff or dry. Low and slow keeps them soft and gooey.
➡️ Press into pan gently - Lightly press the mixture into the pan, don't pack it down firmly. Pressing too hard can make the bars dense instead of soft.
➡️ Add extra Lucky Charms marshmallows to top - I think these turn out so cute when extra Lucky Charm marshmallows or sprinkles are added to the top for more color!
How to Make Lucky Charms Rice Krispie Treats

Step 1: In a large pot, melt the butter over medium-low heat.

Step 2: Once butter is melted, add three-quarters of the bag of marshmallows and stir until melted. Add remaining marshmallows and continue mixing until they are partially melted, leaving small chunks throughout for texture.

Step 3: Remove the pot from heat and immediately stir in the Lucky Charms cereal. Mix until the cereal is evenly coated in the marshmallow mixture.

Step 4: Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish. Gently press it into an even layer but avoid packing it down too firmly to keep the treats soft. Let sit for about 1 hour to cool. Enjoy!

Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
For best texture, place parchment paper between layers to prevent sticking. Avoid refrigerating them, as this can make them firm and dry.
