- Pineapple - I use fresh pineapple chunks but you can used canned if preferred.
- Bacon - To make prep easier, use microwavable bacon to save time

How To Make Easy Baked Pineapple BBQ Chicken

Step 1: Grill the thin chicken breasts then place in a greased 9x13 baking dish.

Step 2: Add the BBQ sauce, pineapple, chopped onion and bacon on top of the chicken breasts.

Step 3: Top with shredded cheese and bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes.

Step 4: Top with sliced green onions and additional pineapple if desired. Enjoy!

Easy Baked Pineapple BBQ Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 Thin boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1 serving Salt & pepper to taste
- ¾ cup Bbq sauce
- 1 cup Pineapple chunks
- 4 strips Bacon chopped
- ¼ cup Red onion chopped
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 Green onions chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400F. Prepare a baking dish and spray it with oil.
- Grill the thin chicken breasts for about 5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and place in prepared baking dish.
- Spread BBQ sauce over the chicken breasts to cover. Then top with pineapple chunks.
- Add the diced bacon and chopped red onion.
- Finally, top with shredded mozzarella. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Broil for 3-4 minutes to crispen up the cheese. Top with green onions before serving. Can also add additional pineapple if desired. Enjoy!
