Recipe Tips & Variations
➡️ Leave space between the chicken breasts in the air fryer - Cook the chicken in a single layer and don't crowd. This will ensure that the chicken gets that nice crispy coating!
➡️ Spray with olive oil or cooking spray before air frying - The oil helps give it that nice crispy, crunchy texture with the golden coating. Don't skip this step!
➡️ No air fryer? No problem! - If you don't have an air fryer or prefer to bake this, you can bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Feel free to broil for a minute to get the outside extra crispy! If you have a rack you can add to your baking sheet, this will help it crisp even more.
How to Make Air Fryer Crispy Lemon Parmesan Chicken

Step 1: Combine in a bowl the lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, eggs and whisk all together.

Step 2: Pour mixture over chicken. If you have time to let it marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes, it will be more flavorful!

Step 3: In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 4: Then dredge the chicken in the mixture, lightly pressing to evenly coat.

Step 5: Place chicken into the Air Fryer and spray with olive oil spray or cooking spray. You may want to top with additional parmesan cheese.

Step 6: Cook at 390°F for about 16-18 minutes. If not using a crisper plate, flip the chicken half way through. Serve warm.

Air Fryer Crispy Lemon Parmesan Chicken

- 2 eggs
- 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 4 thin boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
- ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
Instructions

- Place chicken into the Air Fryer and cook at 390°F for about 15-18 minutes, making sure to flip the chicken about halfway through.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
